Having a little fun

I went to the 4th annual southeast student renewable energy conference about a month ago and had a blast! I was given the opportunity thanks to Southern Alliance Clean Energy where I intern to be involved, meet and network with new people about sustainable energy.FYI the 5th annual northeast student energy summit is this weekend March 23-25 in Boston, MA. I strongly encourage you to go for a great life learning experience.

If you are interested in reading more on my experience and thoughts on SSREC , please feel free to read on …

I traveled to University of Clemson for the weekend to attend the SSREC. I enjoyed my time there, I got to meet new people and learn about environmental issues that I was not aware of or knew little. One issue that distrubed me the most of all others was the mountain top removal. I had no idea that was occurring and the after math of what the mountain top removal was causing. The whole weekend was an I eye opener, I have never met such passionate and driven people. It was amazing to see a group of young students come together and wanting to make a better, healthier life for everyone and protecting our only mother nature.
