The youth clean energy movement is reaching unprecedented numbers, but as this movement grows we must continue to improve our selves, our message, and our information. A growing and influential part of the youth climate movement is the Campus Climate Challenge which has reached over 550 campuses across North America. To improve the Energy Action Coalition’s Campus Climate Challenge we need feed back from YOU about how the first year of the Challenge went and how we can improve.

End of Year One for the Campus Climate Challenge

Over the past academic year, some amazing victories have occurred on college campuses.Across the country students are actively changing their campuses, communities, nation and the world for the better. Students from all areas of the U.S. and Canada are electing to increase their student fees to pay for renewable energy, carbon offsets, energy efficiency retrofits, sustainability coordinators and much more!They are taking time out of their busy lives to campaign against new coal plants, storming the offices of their administration to demand carbon neutrality, and building communities that serve as a true example of sustainability.

The people at the Energy Action Coalition would like to think that the Campus Climate Challenge helped facilitate many of these amazing students’ projects.In order to improve the Challenge for year two we are evaluating our roles, successes, limitations, and goals. As part of this evaluation, we have compiled a survey to let you (the students) tell us (the coordinators) how we are doing.So those of you who participated in the Campus Climate Challenge PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE take a few minutes out of your undoubtedly busy schedules to fill out this survey.
