About Martha
Martha Pskowski studies political economy and ecology at Hampshire College. She has been active in the environmental movement since early high school. She has written for the Center for New Community, Common Dreams, and It's Getting Hot in Here. Martha is a Political Research Fellow at the Population and Development Program. She writes on topics including international climate negotiations, immigration and youth organizing. She has worked the past two years on community education and agriculture projects in rural Franklin County, Mass. Martha is writing her undergraduate thesis on the forest carbon program, REDD+, in Chiapas, Mexico.
