]]> http://itsgettinghotinhere.org/2011/08/28/activists-follow-obama-and-white-house-press-corps-to-marthas-vineyard/#comment-98126 Mon, 29 Aug 2011 02:56:09 +0000 http://itsgettinghotinhere.org/?p=24338#comment-98126 It’s a little late to be planning a local solidarity action, but one fairly easy thing a person or two or 3 can do is freeway blogging, which reaches many, many people. pick an overpass which has chainlink fencing (in cities, near schools, etc.) and on a large piece of material (old sheets work well–twin size is good) paint your message, let it dry and hang it by tying the corners to the fencing. don’t make your message too close to the corners of your material. 2 people can quickly hang it, and a 3rd driver can be waiting nearby or pick them up on the overpass, so that it can be hung in minutes, if not seconds.
