I’d also like to comment on the comments which voiced concern over a somewhat narrow demographic posting on the site. I’d agree, but I’d also like to point out that as we’re not a professional journalistic organization, it’s harder for us to attract folks from across the spectrum. Really, it’s up to the people in the fields working with more diverse groups to encourage them to find their voice and share it with us here. I know I was intimidated when I first posted, but was encouraged by veterans to do so.
