This is amazing. More than a hundred thousand demonstrators from around the world make a united stand for action in the climate negotiations going on in Copenhagen. More to come soon.

But there are still more “consenus” climate scientists than protest marchers. How does that work?
Take Me To YOUR CLIMATE LEADER!
How many climate scientists to change a light bulb?
NONE! But, they DO have consensus that it WILL change.
Now we know that climate change is all politics, not science because wouldn’t real environmentalists be happy about climate gate’s smoking iceberg?
The world’s longest emergency is over and now we as progressives should distance ourselves from this soon to be fringe political group called the Climate Changers.
Look’s like someone’s getting ahead of the curve? :
- “As a former member of the Union of Concerned Scientists, I must admit the stolen emails may leave us as the guilty camp guards in the history books of environmentalism. I hereby officially do not want to be known as the person who knew all along that our CO2 enemy was non existent. These irresponsible scientists feeding the IPCC, NASA, EPA and the MET this deceptive data should be charged with fraud before we all are.”
Mememine,
Regarding the science: we all hope you’re right and that climate change isn’t real, though we believe it is. You’ve made your case dozens of times, anybody that was going to be convinced by you has surely has been.
Regarding your allegations that we’re just minions of a conspiracy: You can continue to waste your time living in your fantasy world where all of us are a bunch of disillusioned kids with starry-eyes obsessed with CO2. But as Van Jones said “this movement is deeper than a solar panel”, and while CO2 is an enemy it is by no means what defines what we are all passionate about.
this is absolutely amazing.
Hi Meme Mine,
Why don’t you give us a citation for that quote at the end of your comment, so we know it’s not just something manufactured off the Internet? Isn’t that what a REALLY scientific person would do?
And I agree with Sam: the demonstration is absolutely amazing!
What these eco- and environmental fundamentalists are passionate about is a religion: believe in climate change what was formerly called global warming. This religion is hijacked by the communists in the eighties of the last century. The first nature lovers were the followers of a certain man called A. Hitler. The so called protesters have the same target as the leaders of the G-20: global governance. These eco- and environmental fundamentalists wish to accelerate this undemocratic process of forming a global government as Mr. van Romphuys has said already.
As President Vaclav Havel said already: it is not about climate it is about freedom. Freedom that the “whole world”, gathered in Copenhagen, wants to destroy.
This absolutely amazing that the women and men on the picture in the dark are not aware of the process of Photosynthesis and the two Laws of Thermodynamics.
As always: stupidity and weeds are difficult to combat.
Have a good health with a lot of wealth!
Vaclav Havel should be Vaclav Klaus.
My apology.
Tropla-
Do you know how utterly ridiculous you sound when you say something like “The first nature lovers were the followers of a certain man called A. Hitler.”?
I know you really wanted to slip in the Hitler reference a la Glenn Beck and Lord Monckton, but you know what? It just doesn’t work. It doesn’t work when they use it and it most definitely didn’t work when you just used it.
Dear Tim,
It is always a pleasure to notice that certain facts are used personally against a contributor. You do not know me and I do not know you. For me facts are important. I do not mind about Glenn Beck or Lord Monckton. Long before them I knew already that global warming = climate change is a hoax and not worthwhile spending taxpayers money on.
But, dear Tim, if the remark about nature lovers is the only thing that does not work, it can be concluded that you agree with the other facts. Thank you for that.
The whole hoax “global warming” is about freedom that is in danger because of eco- and environmental fundamentalists who wants to control and manage the lives of people who do not ask for their interference.
Meme Mine,
I just completed a pretty exhaustive search for the origins of your quote. I came up with several online forum discussions where you posted comments virtually identical to the one above, including the quote supposedly from a climate scientist. However, you never cited a source for the quote, just as you don’t cite a source on this thread.
When I originally saw your “scientist’s” quote above, my first thought was that it was something you’d pulled out of context from a conversation that would have clarified the scientist’s position, or possibly that the quote wasn’t actually from a real climate scientist at all, but an industry ally posing as a researcher. Now I’m beginning to think you just manufactured this “scientist” out of thin air. Can you prove me wrong?
Tropla-
I debated whether I would write “how utterly ridiculous IT sounds” or “how utterly ridiculous you sound” and I actually ended up changing it to the latter because I was trying to point out the the naivete of the comment and commenter. My comment was not intended as a personal attack, and I apologize if it came off that way.
If you are so concerned with facts, then why spread the lie that “the first nature lovers were the followers of a certain man called A. Hitler”? Is that one of the “facts” that are important to you? My making such a claim, you completely discount your credibility.
Finally, please do not assume that I agree with the rest of your point just because I decided not to deconstruct it.
Tropla and others with your way of thinking:
You say that you do not believe in the problem at hand, climate change/global warming/us destroying Mother Earth. This blows my mind. How could you not? Out of curiosity, do you live in a big city? This is the only solution I can come up with as to how you do not see the damage humans have done to the planet. Look around, read the news. I am from Minnesota, I grew up in this area my whole life. I am currently in college, I am not rich nor do I live in a fancy house or own an expensive car. But I can almost gurantee I am more happy with my life, community, and family than most will ever be. Back on track. I remember as a kid the snow coming down in October and staying well into March. It is now December and we have but a foot of snow on the ground which is currently melting as I look out my window. Last year snow came late and was gone very quickly. Some look at this in excitement for their disliking of cold weather. But I look at this in fear. Fear that maybe the damage we have done is too extensive to come back from. And it baffles me to hear some people say that humans are not the cause of this problem. Well tell me this, do the plants use aeorsol/styrofoam/drugs which cause damage to the environment in the end? Do the winged-ones drive vehicles which release toxins into the atmosphere causing further damage to the hole in the o-zone layer? Or is it the swimming-ones who run factories all day releasing toxins into the air through smokestacks in order to make plastic water bottles because they polluted the water themselves and can no longer drink the local ‘tap water’? Yeah you are probably right, it must be THEIR fault.
Climate science is not something one believes or disbelieves in. You either understand it, or you don’t. One can no more “not believe” in climate science as one can “not believe” in evolution or gravity or the shape of the earth.
Sounds like the beginnings of a war here……. hmm I’m slightly afraid.
