Anne,

This is so wonderful to hear! Just on the off-chance that you find it useful, there is a manual that some Macalester students wrote on creating a Renewable Energy Revolving Fund that has been very successful.

Here is the link:http://www.macalester.edu/cerf/

I am so thrilled that more and more teachers and professors are graciously giving their time even outside the classroom to help these motivated students. Thank you for that!

This is the one of the more inspiring efforts from teens and college students I've heard in a while. The complexity of the project and their success really shows how much our kids are capable of, and how much authority and chances they should be given to contribute to important societal issues.

As a college professor and journalist specializing in teaching teens and college students how to manage money (giveme20.com/blog), this post has inpsired me to have my students get involved with community projects that involve big investements of capital, but which also have a huge return on investment.

This is just fantastic.
