In particular, Obama’s energy education initiative is fabulous, but his administration needs to commit more resources. Jesse Jenkins and I suggested doing this on par with the National Defense Education Act of 1958, which invested about $5-7 billion over 5 years. It’s not yet clear what level of resources the administration is committing, but let’s keep on them to ensure this critical initiative has the kind of impact we need.
