I am told that the true costs of using oil is staggering. In reality, gas should cost 9 dollars a gallon when all of the hidden costs are added up which in America has to patrol the Middle East waters and station troops to prevent supply disruptions. Let them keep their oil. I am sick of our politicians being bought off and them forcing us to continue to use oil. What kind of future do we have when we know that by using oil will destroy the planet? I demand that politicians start doing what they are elected to do. Secure alternative clean sources of energy or stop mothers from having babies because it is going to get really nasty as these resources dry up.

Nothing good can come of big oil. Big oil will fight tooth and nail to continue to strangle any competition. For too long this nation has been extorted by the people in the mid-east who by proxy our politicians keep us addicted to big oil. With illegal resource wars and countless billions of dollars we send to the middle east every year, there is no more powerful argument to ending our addiction to oil. We are a smarter people than this. If not, then we deserve the hellish nightmare we are about to encounter by ignoring the cries of mother nature. She will never tolerate an imbalance.
