		<description><![CDATA[Agree that this can be complex issue, but we need to pay attention and urge our political leaders to act. Last year, they agreed to cut greenhouse gas emissions in Europe by up to 30% by 2020. Now the deal is under threat with only a proposed 20% reduction, including heavy reliance on external carbon credits.

As a result, the Climate Action Network (CAN), Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace and WWF formed the Time to Lead! campaign to urges European citizens and organisations to act by contacting political leaders and issuing support for at least a 30 percent reduction in Europe’s own carbon emissions by 2020. This effort will help keep the Earth&#039;s temperature below 2 degrees celsius.

Citizens act by joining the ‘call to action’ at TimeToLead.eu (www.timetolead.eu/) - Keep global warming below 2°C.
