Powershift 2009. 15,000 youth gathered in Washington DC - sending a message to the new administration that climate change, clean energy, and green jobs are the top priorities. What if we could mobilize 1000, 2000, or more to shut down the Capitol coal plant - making it clear that the urgency and depth of serious action on climate is no longer something the public is willing to calmly ask for - but are now demanding. I think we can do this - and turn a new corner in the climate justice movement. Stay tuned. -Matt 100% agree.
