Live Blogging Gore’s Endorsement: “What does it mean: Jobs!”

After a short intro from basketball star, Chauncy Billups, the Governor of Michigan, Jennifer Granholm, is now onstage at the Obama rally tonight where Al Gore will give his endorsement.

She got my attention by doing a riff talking about green jobs. It’s her whole speech. “What do hybrid cars mean for Michigan?” she’s yelling. “Jobs!” And the crowd is going pretty wild.

It’s some good messaging from a Governor that has done a fair amount of flip-flopping on these issues, especially when it comes to the auto industry.

Check it out the live stream at www.barackobama.com and back here for more analysis coming up.

That’s a no-brainer as GM currently manufactures five hybrid models, with what I presume are many more in development.
