The Power Vote fun has begun

This week CNN has been airing a segment featuring us. That’s right. Seven amazing youth climate activists from the Atlanta region came together for a one hour roundtable with CNN’s Rick Sanchez to talk about why they’re voting for green jobs, sane climate policy, a moratorium on coal, and healthier, more just communities.

These inspiring individuals are already leaders on their campuses and communities and now they are taking their message national. This is what Power Vote is about.
Power Vote is a campaign to use the election to grow our movement; have conversations with millions of people about the connections between clean energy and health, job creation, and security; get tons of media to elevate the importance of energy issues in this election; and push all the candidates to have stronger policies on climate.

Are you serious about influencing the national debate on climate?  Stopping dirty energy and winning green jobs? Climate justice for all communities?

Come to one of two amazing mega trainings this summer!

Great interview! Way to pounce on the energy vs. economy false dichotomy. You all showed such passion and excitement about the potential to rejuvinate the American economy with a sustainable, clean energy revolution has to be inspiring to anyone who was watching! Nice work and lets keep up the Power Shift!

I also liked how you emphasized such opportunity, and made it seem almost like a fun adventure for people to join. I work for a new video site and we have a environmental movement channel. We’ve posted one of these video on the link…a new way to motivate the unconverted maybe…the channel’s at http://www.crushedplanet.com/channel/enviromaniacs

I am lucky enough to be Energy Action Coalition's Communications Director. I spend my days listening to and telling the fantastic stories of the incredible work the youth climate movement is doing. I also use the words clean, just energy about 500 times a day. I like to be on message!
