		<description>I noticed that fusion did not have a weblink.  Here is the link to the Fusion Power Associates.  They have good presentation notes from conferences giving the latest developments and issues:

Also, an alternative to the plutonium breeder is the thorium reactor.  It uses water for the coolant and is more proliferation resistant.  The tradeoff is that it would have a lower breeding ratio.  Shippingport operated with a thorium core from 1977-1982, so there is operating experience with the design.</description>
