Coal to liquid is a disaster. It just means more money for big industry and will
further destroy the landscape. It WON'T reduce pollution when you consider the energy used to dig and process it into liquid, and how clean will that burn ?
What about the pollution of people's lungs from digging it ? Big business doesn't care about the environment; they never did. What makes you think this boondoggle will be any different ? What about big industry spending the same
money, work and time on alternative, renewable energy sources ? There's more
money in liquid coal; that's why they want to do it.
