We’ve got Obama pushing a coal-to-liquids solution to our addiction to foreign oil, Cheney holding back laughs while Bush tells us of his great plan to fight climate change and State Agencies suing Katrina Survivors in New Orleans. Luckily, everything isn’t sour on The Hill, a few glimmers of hope shine! These nuggets of progress come from people like Rep. Henry Waxman and Barbara Boxer who seem to really understand the urgency of this petro-chemical blunder. Unfortunately, we can’t leave this problem to them to solve!
