We are doing the same thing in Kansas! They want to build 3 new coal fired power plants in the state. Annually, that’s 14 million more tons of carbon in our air. Also, the plants will use 9.8 billion gallons of Kansas water. And, like in GA, 92% of the power is going to other states. No thanks!

Kansas is third in the nation for wind energy potential. Keep Kansas clean!

We are holding a large screening of “An Inconvenient Truth” and organizing students for the public hearing next week. Any other ideas on successful tactics?
