I just wanted to give a shout out to the Challenge team at Pomona College. They just earned their fourth media hit in their campus newspaper, The Student Life. This time they earned an editorial in support of their dorm challenge. If the revolution begins with an educated populate, Pomona will be ground zero, because I am sure that every student on campus is now aware of this great movement. Keep up the good work.

Winning Energy Efficiency with CCC’s Dorm Challenge

We at The Student Life would like to applaud the Campus Climate Challenge (CCC) in its efforts this month to encourage lower energy usage at Pomona through its Green Cup Dorm Challenge. We feel that it is indeed every student’s responsibility to contribute to our campus’s greater energy efficiency, so we would like to highlight a few of the least-practiced ways to conserve energy noted by the CCC as well as make our own pledge as an organization to do what we can to further this cause.
